Bahrain’s Legislation & Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC) has collaborated with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) to introduce a mobile app that allows users to access legal eServices. The app’s launch was announced during a press conference that took place on March 19th, with LLOC President Counselor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza and iGA Deputy Chief Executive of eTransformation, Dr. Zakariya Ahmed Al Khajah, in attendance.
The Bahrain Legislations Mobile App was created to make legal eServices more accessible to the public. It is available for download on the eGovernment App Store bahrain.bh/apps. The aim of the app is to promote legal awareness and culture among the general population. In addition, the app aligns with the nation’s ongoing technological initiatives.
At the press conference, Hamza reiterated LLOC’s commitment to enhancing its eServices, which aim to cultivate legal knowledge among all segments of society. This goal is intended to strengthen the principles of the Constitution and the rule of law in Bahrain, while highlighting the country’s civilizational transformation in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Bahrain Legislations Mobile App serves as a legal eChannel that provides access to a variety of legal eServices, such as searching and reviewing legislation, decisions, treaties, agreements, legal principles and other relevant services that are of interest to concerned stakeholders.
