Pentera, a leading company in automated security validation, has announced its partnership with MBC GROUP, the biggest and most prominent media company in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The collaboration aims to pre-empt ransomware attacks and ensure continuous security validation across the enterprise.
MBC’s team actively searched for a solution to regularly validate the effectiveness of their existing security infrastructure and supplement their penetration testing program. Since integrating the Pentera platform, MBC has increased its security validation frequency 10 times across its enterprise IT infrastructure. This has enabled MBC to test its security resiliency against real-world attacks, shorten the time to vulnerability discovery and mitigate threats effectively.

In addition, Pentera’s detailed reports are used to benchmark MBC’s security over time and better communicate security priorities within the organization.
According to Aus Alzubaidi, Director of IT and Media Management at MBC GROUP, having an accurate assessment of the organization’s resiliency against real cyber-attacks is crucial. “Utilizing the Pentera platform has improved our ability to validate our security as well as prioritize our remediation processes. These capabilities have already proved extremely valuable and will become more crucial as our networks continue to expand and evolve”, he said.
