(ISC)² has announced a partnership with the UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC) to collaborate on enhancing the cybersecurity workforce in the UAE. The two organizations will provide training and professional development programs to create a safer and more secure cyber environment in the country.

Dr Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security, UAE Government, stated that the partnership is part of the UAE’s initiative to be a global leader in cybersecurity, which includes establishing a cybersecurity ecosystem to create a safe and resilient cyber infrastructure.

(ISC)² will support the UAE CSC’s capacity building program by mapping certifications to internationally recognised standards. The UAE government will adopt (ISC)² certifications for specific job roles within the industry, creating a unified standard for cybersecurity professionalism. Moreover, the UAE CSC will evaluate the local cybersecurity workforce against the global workforce and identify opportunities to enhance and expand it.
