Niraj Varia, CEO of iProcure, expressed excitement about entering the Tanzanian market through the partnership with FtMA. He highlighted the shared vision of both organizations to digitize agriculture, support farmers and enhance supply chains. By leveraging FtMA’s existing network of agro-dealers, iProcure aims to introduce its technology-driven solutions to the Tanzanian agricultural sector.
Since its establishment in 2013, iProcure has built a robust distribution infrastructure that connects major agricultural input suppliers directly to local agro-dealers using its proprietary distribution technology system. By eliminating intermediaries and providing real-time insights on supply levels and prices, iProcure ensures the availability, quality and affordability of critical agricultural inputs such as fertilizers and seeds. This streamlined approach offers farmers discounts of up to 25% compared to prevailing market prices.
