Inlaks, a leading African systems integrator and ICT solutions provider, has named Charles Ifedi as its new Chief Executive Officer for its African operations. The appointment marks a pivotal move in the company’s strategic push to deepen its footprint across the continent’s fast-evolving technology landscape.
Ifedi, a fintech pioneer and co-founder of Interswitch Group, steps into the role following the tenure of interim CEO Henry Okolo, who will now resume his duties as a board director. The leadership transition is seen as a major step in positioning Inlaks for accelerated growth, digital transformation, and market expansion.
With over 25 years of global experience in fintech innovation, digital strategy, and enterprise transformation, Ifedi brings a robust portfolio to the role. He is notably the founding CEO of Verve International, where he led the development of Africa’s leading card payments brand, and also founded eBanqo, an AI-driven customer engagement platform.
“We are pleased to welcome Charles Ifedi as our new Chief Executive Officer,” said Mohammed Hayatudeen, Chairman of Inlaks. “His proven track record in scaling technology-driven businesses and his deep industry expertise align perfectly with our vision for innovation and growth.”
Ifedi’s career spans executive and strategic roles at major global firms including American Express, PwC, and Accenture. His experience across African, European, and U.S. markets is expected to bring a global lens to Inlaks’ regional ambitions.
