The Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation (MoCD) organized a two-day retreat with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Communications and Finance at the National Communications Authority (NCA) in Accra to update members of the Committees on the activities of the Ministry.
The event brought together the Minister for Communications and Digitalisation, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful (MP), Deputy Minister, Ms Ama Pomaa Boateng, Chief Director, Mr Alexander Arphul, Members of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Communications and Finance, the Heads of Agencies of the Ministry and their staff and staff of MoCD.

The National Communications Authority (NCA), Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), National Information Technology Agency (NITA), Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (KACE), Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet), Accra Digital Center (ADC), Postal and Courier Regulatory Commission (PCRSC), Ghana Post, Cyber Security Authority (CSA), Ghana Domain Name Registry (GDNR), Data Protection Commission (DPC) and the E-Transform project were present at the meeting.
The Minister in her opening remarks stressed the need for the Ministry and its agencies to meet the members of the two Committees to update them on the activities of the Ministry.
Such meetings, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful said afford leadership the opportunity to take a retrospective look at the previous year’s performance, address challenges that the Ministry faced and plan ahead.
