Deloitte has launched its new Innovation Hub in Cairo, reinforcing its commitment to advancing digital innovation and harnessing Egypt’s growing talent pool.
The inauguration, reported by The Egyptian Gazette, was led by Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat.
The $30 million investment will span over three years, positioning Egypt as a key hub for digital services, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity solutions for clients across Europe and the Middle East.
Talaat highlighted the hub’s role as a testament to Egypt’s strong reputation as a digital innovation destination, underpinned by a young, skilled workforce proficient in computer science, engineering, and data systems.
“The establishment of the Deloitte Innovation Hub in Cairo reflects global trust in Egypt’s capabilities,” Talaat said, adding that Egypt’s ICT sector reached $6.2 billion in digital exports in 2023.

He further emphasized the government’s goal to cultivate high-value employment opportunities for Egyptian youth, expand digital exports, and drive the nation towards a knowledge-based economy.
Hani Girgis, leader of the Deloitte Innovation Hub, echoed this vision, noting that the hub will enable the nurturing of local talent and positively impact Egyptian society while delivering advanced technological solutions for clients across multiple markets.
“This Innovation Hub is poised to make a meaningful impact by fostering talent and providing unmatched value to our clients,” he remarked
