Liquid Intelligent Technologies has appointed Bernard Beya as the new Chief Executive Officer of its operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The appointment marks a significant leadership transition for the company, a key player in digital infrastructure and connectivity across Africa and part of the global technology group Cassava Technologies. Beya, who has been serving as Acting CEO since November 2025, brings extensive industry experience to the role.

Sutha Siva, Executive Vice President and Group Chief Operating Officer at Cassava Technologies, welcomed the appointment, stating:

โ€œThe DRC represents one of the most exciting growth opportunities in our region, and Bernardโ€™s appointment comes at an important moment in our journey. His deep understanding of the local market, combined with his commitment to customer success and operational excellence, will help accelerate our ambitions to expand digital infrastructure and enable greater economic growth across the country.โ€

Bernard Beya joins the CEO position with over 20 years of leadership experience in telecommunications, much of it gained within the DRC market. He first joined Liquid Intelligent Technologies in September 2022 as Chief Financial Officer before being elevated to Acting CEO in November 2025, where he has been responsible for the organisationโ€™s strategic, operational, and commercial direction.
