The Gate London City, a premium aparthotel in the heart of the City of London, has partnered with Inntelo AI to introduce an advanced agentic AI solution, making it the first hotel in the UK capital to adopt the platform.
The property, managed by EQ Group, a European hospitality platform with nearly 10,000 rooms across the UK and Europe is using the technology to enhance guest experiences while prioritising staff development.
In a notable departure from typical AI implementations, The Gate London City has paired the rollout with a comprehensive training and upskilling programme for its team. Rather than using the technology to cut jobs, the hotel is focusing on empowering employees, positioning it as an early example of responsible AI adoption in the hospitality sector.
Guests at The Gate London City will now benefit from an AI-powered concierge accessible directly from their phones, via calls, voice commands, or WhatsApp. The system supports more than 40 languages and handles a wide range of requests , from booking amenities and restaurant tables to arranging local excursions — while delivering personalised service throughout their stay. This allows staff to focus more on high-touch, face-to-face guest interactions.
Inntelo AI has also delivered tailored training sessions at the hotel. These go beyond platform-specific instruction, equipping employees with broader practical AI skills to support their daily work and long-term professional growth.

Headquartered in London, Inntelo AI offers an AI-native platform that streamlines guest communication, operations, and task management. The solution is already operational in hotels across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including CIEL Dubai Marina, the world’s tallest hotel.
Asif Alidina, Founder and CEO of Inntelo AI, said: “Hospitality will always be a human business. Hotels and their guests don’t want full automation. What they want is AI that removes the friction for everyone. When it’s done well, it makes life easier for guests, easier for teams, and stronger for the business as a whole.”
Keerthy Sachavi, General Manager at The Gate London City, added: “Working with Inntelo has demystified AI for us. Getting hands-on with the tools made us realise there are real opportunities here to improve the guest experience and improve productivity, while also freeing up our team to spend more time with guests on a face-to-face, human level. It’s been a win-win.”
